L.M. Revival is a bold and innovative fall/winter clothing line featuring “technology” and inspiration from six major Le Mans automobiles and their silhouettes, colors, and protective structures. Many of my designs fully showcase the functionality, innovation, as well as the protection that  Le Mans cars have been developing for years. I have protective technology built into some of my designs to mimic the protective measures slowly integrated into race cars over the years, but incorporated into the clothing in a way that is both functional and stylish. For example, three of the jackets in the line are convertible puffer jackets with pull tabs on the ends allowing the jacket to puff up and expand with air to mimic airbags in a vehicle's interior. Also, one of the skirts featured in the line converts into a carrying case with just a few simple closures. L.M. Revival is a high-end women's line that utilizes many quality technical fabrics throughout the collection.
L.M. REVIVAL
(LAYOUT IS INSPIRED BY AN OLD-SCHOOL CAR MANUAL)
Rather than just focusing on cars and the automobile history in general, I honed in on the famous Le Mans race in France. 24 Hours of Le Mans (French: 24 Heures du Mans) is the world's oldest active sports car race in endurance racing, held annually since 1923 near the town of Le Mans, France. The Le Mans event is a heavily male-dominated sport, and since the start of this race, there have only been a total of 57 female racers. I thought it would be daring to delve into an industry so male-oriented and use that for inspiration in a womenswear line.
